While saying these Chinese New Year greetings to our family, relatives and friends, we would like to first be dressed well, beautifully and full of prosperity! Even though Chinese New Year / Lunar New Year traditionally speaks of bright red colours and embroidery stitches, we have now managed to fuse together traditional ties and threads of modernity. It's not only just hues of reds and pinks, but also including shades of white, pastels, and even blues. Following our CNY Sneaks (I), we are sharing with you ladies in this post our CNY Sneaks (II)!

Puffy Sleeves
YES!!! We are still in love with puffy sleeves detailing! When we talk about these sleeves, it's go big or go home! The bigger the better, honestly! These cute sleeves design emerged in the Renaissance period, meant to add that extra dose of femininity and to accentuate a woman's silhouette. We are having a series of puff sleeves designs coming up, and the above is only but one of them! This darling design, besides puff sleeves, also come with a smocked bodice, and a flare skirting. It also comes with mini floral embroidery patterns in hues of yellow and green, adding to the overall cuteness! We would pair it with espadrilles and a straw bag for sure ;)
Feminine Eyelet & Lace
Something that also spells feminine, and wins hands down, is undoubtedly eyelet and lace fabric! If you think of outfits worn by princesses, lace would definitely be part of their wardrobe selections. And that is hardly surprising (not to us, anyway!). Here, we have two of our upcoming lace/eyelet designs coming up, with more along the way. This lace design is clearly one of the hot favourites with its sweetheart neckline, slim shoulder straps, and an A-line silhouette with a cinched waist detail! This is such a graceful number that you can even wear to weddings, formal events and such, completed with stilettos and a classic clutch bag!
The other eyelet design is an equally womanly piece with a modish square neckline and a fitting silhouette that flaunts your curves in all the right places! We also adore the gathered hemline and how it is a timeless design that can still be worn even 10 years down the road!

Cheongsam Silhouette
Putting a spin to the customary outfits, we have our traditional cheongsams in a modern drop-waist silhouette and a gathered hemline. For those of you who are intending to visit your in-laws or the older generations (who can be more particular about outfit choices), this lace cheongsam may be a wonderful idea. Not forgetting about past customs (as seen in the mandarin collars and pearls), and still incorporating contemporary details (drop-waist silhouette and choice of lace fabric), this piece is bound to be "crowd-pleasers"!
Florals
Florals is something we can never miss out on, especially for Chinese New Year Collections. For feminine ladies who are huge on florals, do keep your eyes peeled this few weeks for we are having a variety of floral designs in multiple silhouettes coming up! To name a few, there's babydoll floral dresses, floral cheongsam dresses (mom + kids), and floral mermaid dresses. The design shared here is an exceedingly flattering piece that flaunts the right curves and exudes charm in every angle. Featuring cold shoulder details, it also comes with ruffles details and a high-low hemline, thereby providing an illusion of longer legs! 🌼
